A Video Business Card is the most impressive business card
that separates you from your competition
What is a Video Business Card?
A Video Business Card is a compact custom-printed card that features a screen, speaker, and battery. It is the size of a standard business card and plays an uploaded video as soon as it is opened. The benefit of this technology is that it allows for maximum recall among potential customers.
Video Business Cards are the latest innovation in the world of business cards, providing a unique and unforgettable experience for potential clients and customers. Despite the widespread use of social media and video sharing platforms, business cards continue to play a crucial role in introducing your business and making a lasting impression. The conventional business cards, with their limited space and static information, are being replaced by Video Business Cards that bring a dynamic, interactive touch to the mix.
In the era of QR codes, URL links, and instant access to digital information, businesses are increasingly looking for ways to stand out from the crowd and make their cards more memorable. With a Video Business Card, you can talk directly to the recipient, showcase your brand, products, or services in an engaging and entertaining way. The video format allows you to present a personal message, demonstrate your work, or highlight your unique selling points, all in a compact and portable format.
The benefits of Video Business Cards are clear. Their high-tech design and multimedia capabilities make them more memorable than traditional business cards. People are more likely to retain information that they see and hear, compared to information that they just read. By providing a dynamic, interactive experience, Video Business Cards increase the chances of potential customers remembering your brand and reaching out to you when they need your products or services.

How do they work?
Upon opening the card’s cover, the video is triggered by a magnet disconnecting the switch. The video playback loops until the card is closed. The card battery holds power for 60-75 minutes of playback. The typical length of the video is 30 – 60 seconds, though the card’s memory component is upgradable from the default 128 Mb to 4 Gb maximum, allowing longer playback.
A Video Business Card is essentially a USB drive with a screen and a speaker. The content on the card is updatable. Each card comes with a USB cable that connects the card to a computer. After connecting the USB cable to the Micro USB port on the card and the USB port on the computer, the card shows up as a new drive, allowing the user to upload or download files as needed.
Video Format Explained
One of the most frequent questions is: Can I upload a new video to my Video Business Card? We offer two version of Video Business Cards: Single format and Multifomat. One is cheaper but does not allow easy video file update, one is more expansive, but allows update of files after delivery.
MULTIFORMAT
You can update the video file as needed.
Like all other Video Brochures and Video Business Cards, multiformat Video Business Card plays typical video files like MP4, AVI, FLV, MPEG, MOV, and others. Because these cards require an upgraded PCB board, the cards are, on average, $3.00 more expensive per piece. Uploading a new video is as easy as copying files to a USB drive.
SINGLE FORMAT
You cannot update the video file on your own.
In order to bring the price as low as possible, a PCB board with low decoder overhead is used, capable of playback of only AMV video files. The highly compressed files are a good fit for the 1 7/8” x 1 3/8” screen. There is, however, no widely available software able to convert videos to AMV files. We offer such conversion at no charge to our clients, so if you need to update the file file, we have to convert it for you.
WHAT TO CHOOSE?
In most cases, our clients chose Single Format Cards with playback of AMV files. We convert the video files at no charge for our clients and uploaded the videos for free during the production. Because the cards are handed to potential clients, the cards often don’t require the flexibility of video files update, typical for Video Cards and Video Brochures.
